Artwork Basics

A bit of information about best practices when providing completed label artwork, images, and logos for use in your label design

 Preferred File Formats:

  • .AI (Adobe Illustrator)

  • also accept .PDF, .PSD, .EPS

  • When providing logos or images for use in a design, prepare .JPG or .PNG files with a minimum 300 DPI resolution

Guidelines:

  • If design bleeds off label edge, extend bleed 1/16” around all sides

  • All fonts converted to outlines

  • All links should be embedded

  • Call out Pantone colors
